There are at least 6 wanting in guild, the 2 guild idea might be better for now
How do you go about merging guilds?
I would say go with 2 guilds and use the gold to increase experience earned.
I joined.. no clue what I am doing yet.. Lemming is the user name there

Don't do what I did.. spend all your shrooms browsing through the goods at the store...
I did by some armor.. now transporting sheep.
The graphics remind me a bit of the Discworld video games
I keep expecting Rincewind to pop out

That is fine, but every time you click on new goods you loose a shroom.
Buy what looks fine from the current selection and start adventuring to get some money and experience.

If you increase the experience then you level up faster and don't have as much money in between to increase your stats.
at what level do you get to enter the first dungeon?
10, I do believe.
10.
You will get a key as part of a (random?) quest reward.
With the key, you can access the dungeon.

so tomorrow for me probably
I thought I came up with a good strategy for this game.
When you choose your quest you can often pick between a higher pay in gold or more experience.
I decided to go for the gold all the time, levelling more slowly, but increasing my stats more swiftly.
To confirm this theory I looked at some of the players of my level with a higher ranking.
These guys hardly seem to quest at all.
They just work and spend all their earnings on stats and decent equipment.
When these guys reach the higher levels they will be unbeatable by anybody who is up there now.
I don't think I have that kind of patience though.
I even leased a tiger to get more questing done, I am impatient to reach level 10 to see what the dungeons deliver.

Come to think of it, they are wrong.
It is easier to top of your stats when you are higher level because you get paid more.
Thanks for listening guys, sometimes it helps to think out loud...

If anyone would like, I will start up another guild for the Fazers wanting to join.
Need to decide on a name as well.
It's too risky in the arena for me now.
A loss is a guaranteed to cost me 10g minimum.
Random attacks while afk are costing the same.

I agree, Oli.
I started the game going for most XP and couldn't afford to buy squat.
Now I go for most gold, as stats get progressively more expensive to buy.

Why do you have so much gold?
I never have more than a few pieces of silver on me.
I never have more than a few pieces of silver on me.
Quests are paying better - and guard duty gets me 20g for a 10 hour shift.
Are stats that expensive on higher levels that you can not buy them right when yours hit ends?
hit = shift.
I started saving gold so that we could add members to the existing Fazed guild, but that now seems to be pretty prohibitive.
I normally spend about as much as I make a day,
because as someone astutely pointed out,
if you don't have it, you can't lose it (Arena battles)

Strength is my highest stat now, at 156, and a cost of 3g 35s to go up one point.
Intelligence is my lowest stat, at 71, with a cost of1g 40s to raise it a point.
So, yeah, gold can go fast.

I think that balancing leveling with gold gain is probably the most important, given that guard duty pays based on level and the stuff you can buy and the quest you get are based on level. Of course, if you level too fast then you're screwed with lousy equipment and lower than normal stats. I usually quest for the most money though, unless an item is up for grabs, then I take it even if it sucks (I'm a digital hoarder).
That is indeed a noble reason.
True about the arena, I was never attacked once during an eight hour work shift because I only had 1 sp.
When I came of it I was attacked twice in ten minutes.
Luckily enough I al ready spent my hard earned cash and only lost about 9 sp.
I think the game does not select you as a worthy opponent when you don't have the money to pay your opponent for beating you...
And may I suggest movezig as a guild name?

So far all it has delivered me are severe ass kickings.
I only had one ass kicking on a quest, and only because my weapon is underdeveloped...
I don't want to spend my last few mushrooms renewing goods in the weapon shop,
but I swear if tomorrow is just necklaces and wristbands again I will sue for false advertising!

ezgoing is my character just plodding along
Quests I usually have no problem with. It's the dungeons that are kicking my butt.
Crazy, Feel free to add me (Lemming) once you form one.
Calling it a weapon shop is kind of silly, anyway. They sell hats and shoes as well.

I notice our generous leader is paying our way here.
Should we establish some sort of contribution guideline?
Nothing enforced, but say two hours salary rounded up per day when you can spare it?
I think we will earn it back quick enough if we can keep upgrading our treasury.
Also raise your glass to the gnomes and demons alliance!
(Some dwarfs and dark elves welcome)

I've noticed on the leaderboards that all of the highest ranking characters put points in their damage and hp stats. This is the way I am going to start spending mine as well, with crits being the third focus.
The two hour guild payout is fair enough to me.
